Pinegrove owner Rod Boyes is a vocalist, harmonica player and guitarist. His band, The 309s (www.the309s.com), gig regularly and are well known for getting the audience up and jiving to their heady blend of Western Swing and rock and roll.
With a history in Cajun, Bluegrass and Punk (a long time ago!) he is no stranger to the musical life. The name Pinegrove is a homage to a well known Cajun song, “Pinegrove Blues” by Nathan

Rod's current band, The 309s, published their third CD in November 2016. The six tracks were all written by Rod himself, all in a 1940s and 50s style.
